Im sure he has a restaurant in Woking and I tried one of the burgers.

It was dry and pretty expensive for a low quality ass burger

Had the burger from the Gordon restaurant in Cherokee NC. Very mediocre. Fries were solid

So, did you pay for ice with a few drops of soda? or was it 1000 degrees indoors so they had to do that to prevent it from evaporating? 😅

Absolute hack job slicing that bun with 80% bottom and 20% top. Sheesh that alone would bother me.

  5. Stebbins88

Brits don’t know how to make burgers

Do you mean airport food? Cause you’re pretty clearly not in a fucking plane

  7. This looks like his restaurant in Heathrow? I just ate there recently so I agree it was VERY mediocre.

The worst burger I’ve ever been served was from Gordon Ramsey Burger Las Vegas. $25 for a soggy, overdone, and salty mess.

Looks absolutely ordinary. I’ve worked at a higher end burger spot for years and if I’m being honest, no burger is really that much better than the next after a certain point. (Think Wendy’s). The fact that people are spending 20 bucks on a burger fry plate is insane

So you were in that one Heathrow terminal eh

  11. Didact67

It’s got his name on it, but it’s probably staffed by people who don’t rate much higher than McDonald’s fry cooks in the culinary arts. I wouldn’t expect fine dining in an airport anyway.

Isn’t it well known that Gordan Ramsay restaurants are medicore for the price? High cost for decent but not great food.

How is this up for 3 hours and I can still place orders using the QR code?

Your first mistake is not going to a Whetherspoons while in an English airport. Your second mistake is not ordering a full English and a pint of Guinness regardless of the time of day.

Yeah, I’ve heard that. His BURGER restaurant in Chicago and Las Vegas are fantastic and reasonably priced, but airport food seems to put a curse on things.

Looks good but I imagine it’s overpriced?

Despite his claims of high standards and letting good ingredients shine through, his restaurants are very disappointing. I’ve tried on three occasions and been appalled at the quality. His diatribes against mediocrity just add insult to injury.

I had breakfast there, it was room temperature dry toast, a single egg, and poorly cooked bacon that was over my employers $35 limit for breakfast. Will never go back.

I would have left the moment I saw there’s no physical menu

  20. Expensive_Effort6609

Those fries look really crisp and fluffy. Would love to try one.

    Burger looks mid af

  21. I can tell just by the pickle the burger is mid

  22. FetaFanatic

I love how the way that modern places are giving fries a facelift is by giving them a metal cup to elevate them.

  23. every time someone i know tried gordon ramsey restaurant they think its so mediocre

  24. Strict_Hovercraft358

I am slowly but surely based on majority of reviews i’ve read not a big fan of Gordon Ramsay as a restaurantuer (Michelin aside). That deck of cards is probably going to collapse soon and I just hope he braces himself for impact. However as a family man, chef, athlete, tv host, philantropist, collaborator, etc love him, def a fan.

  25. Chi-zuru

The top bun needs to be bigger. Those fries look yummy though.

I tried plane food about 10 years ago and it was completely mediocre then too. It survives on Ramsey’s name and limited culinary options at the airport

My favorite airport restaurant so far is Michael Symon’s Bar Symon (both IAD and PIT) but I’ve not been to those airports in a few years, no idea if they still exist.
